As the founder of the Disclosure Project, he organized a landmark 2001 press event where dozens of former military and intelligence officials testified about UFO encounters and covert programs. He has spent over thirty years collecting first-hand whistleblower accounts and documents on the UFO cover-up, amassing an archive he claims is “terabytes” deep. How could such an audacious conspiracy form within a constitutional republic? Greer and his sources argue that the origins of this covert empire trace back to the end of World War II, when elements of the American and British intelligence services absorbed Nazi scientists and fascist-aligned industrialists into their fold. One early architect was Allen Dulles, the spymaster who led the CIA in the 1950s (after serving in its precursor, OSS, during the war). Greer notes that Dulles, along with ultra-wealthy figures like Paul Mellon, helped seed the off-the-books programs in the late 1940s. “It was a carryover out of World War II,” Greer explains, describing how some Western power-brokers privately sympathized with fascism’s authoritarian ethos.
One startling anecdote comes from John Warner IV, son of the late U.S. Senator John Warner and grandson of the Mellon dynasty. Greer’s team includes Dr. Carol Rosin, von Braun’s former aide, who recalls von Braun warning on his deathbed of a long-range plan by this cabal to present “aliens” as the next enemy – after communists and terrorists – to justify massive militarization of space. According to Rosin, von Braun was insistent that any alien invasion narrative would be a “false flag” by human power brokers.

Black Projects, Secret Technologies, and Energy Suppression
At the core of these allegations lies an astonishing claim: humanity already possesses revolutionary technologies that could transform the energy equation and our civilization – but they are kept under lock and key. Greer and his whistleblowers describe hidden labs and hangars where recovered extraterrestrial vehicles (“ETVs”) and human-made replicas (called ARVs, Alien Reproduction Vehicles) are studied and test-flown. Within these black projects, scientists achieved breakthroughs in zero-point energy, anti-gravity propulsion, and even instantaneous communication decades ago. The public, however, continues burning oil and gas, oblivious to a 70+-year leap in technology happening in secret.
What exactly is being hidden? For starters, free energy generators that tap the quantum vacuum or other novel physics to produce limitless power. “The really high-tech stuff they’ve slammed into a box – it would liberate every home, every car, every factory, every country into energy independence, with no pollution and no poverty,” Greer laments. In his recent documentary “The Lost Century” (2023), Greer showcases inventors like Stanley Meyer, who built a car engine that ran on water in the 1990s. Meyer died suddenly in 1998 after a meeting with potential investors; his twin brother believes he was poisoned. Greer adds that Meyer’s archive and devices were seized and disappeared into corporate hands, just as many other breakthrough energy inventions have been confiscated or “erased” over the years. He cites the example of Drs. Pons and Fleischmann, whose 1989 discovery of cold fusion was ridiculed and suppressed – yet Greer says more advanced cold fusion devices existed and were also black-shelved by covert actors.
Even high-level officials who tried to help have met lethal resistance. One chilling case was former CIA Director William Colby. In the mid-1990s, Colby had privately aligned with Greer’s initiative and reportedly offered to hand over a working zero-point energy device along with $50 million in funding to seed disclosure. “The week he was going to meet with a member of my board, they found him floating down the river, made to look like a canoeing accident,” Greer says flatly. “His wife knew that he had been killed.” Colby’s death in 1996 was ruled accidental, but Greer and others are convinced it was an assassination to prevent an imminent breach in the wall of secrecy.
The pattern, according to Greer, is that any technology which threatens the global petrochemical energy status quo is swiftly subsumed into black programs – or its inventors are bribed, intimidated, or eliminated. Another example: Cold fusion researchers in the 1980s, or the brilliant engineers in the 1950s who built working prototypes of electrogravitic craft, all saw their work classified under National Security orders and hidden away. To this day, Greer claims, there are entire warehouses of suppressed inventions. He recounts how one team managed to purchase the archives of Stan Meyer at an auction – including a mysterious toroidal power unit that produced free energy – but almost immediately a government order locked it up again. Any patent filed on such technology gets seized under national security rules. “Memo to Peter Thiel and everyone else – if you try to patent this or release it in the traditional venture capital way, it’ll never get out,” Greer warns. The only strategy he sees for liberating these advances is a bold one: open-source everything simultaneously to the public, so widely that the information cannot be suppressed. Greer has openly declared plans to dump schematics online to billions of people if a major breakthrough can be secured, as a kind of insurance policy against the vested interests. “You have to dump it open source, off blockchain, to 2–3 billion people all at once,” he says. “Squeeze the toothpaste out of the tube so hard they can’t put it back in”.
What vested interests are at stake? In a word: money and power. A new energy paradigm would make obsolete the petroleum, gas, coal, and conventional utility industries – an economic upheaval measured in hundreds of trillions of dollars. Greer doesn’t mince words about why the secrecy continues: “It benefits a very, very tiny oligarch ruling group of people on the planet – energy, banking, petro-dollar… We’re not talking about a few hundred billion, we’re talking several hundred trillion dollars,” he says of the current system. The global power structure, in his analysis, is deeply intertwined with the fossil fuel economy and the Bretton Woods financial order (e.g. the U.S. dollar’s reserve currency status tied to oil). Upending that status quo with free energy would undermine the wealth and dominance of those elites. Thus, the revolutionary technologies remain under lock and key, while the world is kept scrabbling for oil and paying utility bills.
Meanwhile, black-budget projects exploit those technologies for covert purposes. Greer’s insiders describe secret aircraft that can mimic UFOs, capable of flying at extreme speeds and performing physics-defying maneuvers using electromagnetic field propulsion. For instance, in the 1980s the Northrop Grumman Corporation developed triangular anti-gravity craft, some of which have been observed (and even retrieved after crashes) by covert teams. Major defense contractors like Lockheed Martin’s Skunk Works and Northrop’s special projects division run these programs in extreme compartmentalization. “Those special projects within Northrop Grumman and Lockheed Skunk Works are hermetically sealed from their normal business of jets and rockets,” Greer explains. Even the CEOs of the parent company may not have a need-to-know. The secrecy is so strict that programs are hidden from other programs. Personnel in one unacknowledged project might have zero awareness of a separate project in the next hangar over. This compartmentalization, while maintaining security, also removed the normal checks and balances of oversight – creating, as Eisenhower feared, an entity that “took on a life of its own” beyond any elected authority.
Greer emphasizes that the technological gap between this rogue group and the conventional military is now enormous. He recounts a 1997 Pentagon meeting with Admiral Thomas Wilson (then J-2 head of Intelligence for the Joint Chiefs of Staff) who had been denied access to a UFO-related program. Wilson was furious to discover a whole world of technology kept from the Pentagon’s top brass. “They flat out said ‘You don’t have a need to know,’” Greer recalls of the admiral’s plight. When Greer asked Wilson for help in exposing the issue, the admiral replied in frustration that the clandestine group had equipment “that can do circles around my B-2 stealth bombers” – essentially admitting military helplessness against the covert arsenal. “So it’s checkmate,” Wilson thought, “it’s over.” But Greer responded, “No sir… the entire United States constitutional government is the David and this organization is the Goliath. Remember that.” It’s a telling analogy – with Greer casting the legitimate government as the underdog in a Biblical battle. Goliath may have the high-tech weapons, but David, he suggests, has the numbers and the moral right on his side.
Whistleblowers in Peril: Silencing the Truth
Over the years, an extraordinary number of people – from generals and CIA officers to engineers, pilots, and even astronauts – have attempted to reveal pieces of this secret, often at great personal risk. Dr. Greer has worked directly with many of them, and he’s blunt about the danger they face: “If you’re actually getting to the truth, they will throw everything they can at you to intimidate you… it’s deadly serious stuff,” he says. Those who get too close have been subjected to surveillance, smear campaigns, threats, and sometimes fatal “accidents.” Greer’s own life has been threatened more times than he can count, and he claims at least a dozen of his close associates have died under suspicious circumstances since the 1990s.
One dramatic incident he shares involved a senior Senate Intelligence Committee staffer in 2020. This investigator had been tasked – finally – with seriously digging into the UFO issue for Congress. After Greer briefed him on the reality of the illegal programs, the man returned home, only to have two unmarked Blackhawk helicopters hover low over his house, terrifying his family. Greer says the choppers shook the house while a crewman leered down with a “death stare” as if to say you’re a dead man. There were no official flight records of the incident. It was pure intimidation – a message that venturing further could cost the man’s life. “This is how it’s done,” Greer explains. “If you’re spreading false information or nonsense, no one’s going to care. But if you start getting close to the truth, they’ll try to scare you off.”
Threats come in many forms. Often, those with inside knowledge are bound by draconian security oaths and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), typically under penalty of imprisonment for treason. Greer, however, argues that these projects themselves are illegal – because they have concealed their existence from the lawful chain of command – and thus such oaths are null and void. In 1997, he and a handful of military insiders took a bold step: they prepared a letter to key agencies declaring that if the secrecy continued, they would consider the covert programs “unlawful… corrupt and unconstitutional” and release witnesses from their secrecy oaths. Greer actually put a countdown clock on disclosure, telling the White House and Pentagon that unless they were instructed otherwise, they would proceed to bring forth witnesses and evidence. This ultimatum preceded the May 2001 Disclosure Project press conference – which did indeed go forward, with over 20 insiders testifying publicly in Washington. (Greer believes the event rattled the covert cabal so much that it indirectly triggered the 9/11 attacks just months later – a claim he only hints at, saying 9/11 provided a convenient “diversion” after 800 million people worldwide heard the Disclosure Project revelations.)
Today, a new window for whistleblowers may be opening. In 2023, Congress enacted language in an intelligence authorization bill ostensibly offering immunity and safe harbor for anyone with knowledge of UFO programs to come forward, even if bound by NDA. But Greer warns that effort has been watered down by insiders in Congress who are sympathetic to the secret-keepers. He specifically names Representatives Mike Turner and Nancy Pelosi as having gutted stronger whistleblower provisions. Still, Greer insists that “now there’s a law enforcement entity… that will extend immunity to them and protect them” – hinting that he is working quietly with certain officials to shield defectors who are ready to talk. In fact, he claims to be feeding intelligence to an investigative team (possibly within the DOJ or Inspector General’s office) preparing to take action. “This is getting very serious right now,” Greer warns those on the inside. “Either be quiet and not lie, or speak the truth… if they lie [under oath], they’re going to prison for the rest of their life”. It’s both a promise of protection for truth-tellers and a threat of consequences for loyalists who continue the cover-up.
Several whistleblowers have recently stepped into the light, underscoring the urgency. In July 2023, former intelligence officer David Grusch testified to Congress that he was told of clandestine crash-retrieval and reverse-engineering programs – essentially corroborating much of what Greer has long alleged. Greer actually met with Grusch before his public revelation, when Grusch was still working behind the scenes. He considers Grusch an honest actor, but notes that Grusch’s knowledge was secondhand and that he was influenced by individuals like Luis Elizondo, whom Greer distrusts. Greer says he has handed over an unredacted hard drive of his own witnesses and evidence to certain Congressional investigators, stressing that many of his 800+ sources have direct firsthand involvement – including people who have piloted man-made UFOs or worked on extraterrestrial craft in storage. “One of my gripes with the House Oversight Committee,” Greer says, “is they have not had a single legitimate whistleblower up there who’s a direct firsthand person”. He wants figures like former Air Force pilot Lieutenant Colonel Richard French, or Navy crash retrieval engineer Dan Morris, or aerospace contractor Eric Hecker – all of whom have given Greer sworn testimony – to be invited to testify publicly. So far, Congress has played it safe, hearing mostly from secondhand witnesses or those who toe a careful line.
Greer continues to spotlight new whistleblowers through his own channels. In June 2023, he held a press event where former Marine Michael Herrera described a 2009 incident in Indonesia: his unit stumbled upon a hovering octagonal craft, only to be threatened at gunpoint by a covert team – an operation Herrera later suspected was tied to human trafficking and psychic experiments. Greer calls Herrera “the only person I’ve met who saw something like that and lived to tell the tale”, noting how extraordinary it is that Herrera survived given the program’s usual lethality toward witnesses. Manipulating the Masses: Disinformation and the “Alien Threat”
One of the most disturbing threads in this saga is the deliberate manipulation of public perception around UFOs and extraterrestrials. Greer and his allies claim that for decades the secret cabal has waged a psychological warfare campaign to shape our understanding of the phenomenon – steering it in directions that suit their agenda. Chief among those agendas is instilling fear of an “alien threat.” “They want the public to hate the aliens so bad that we can have an interplanetary war, so that we’ll have Armageddon – so Christ will return,” Greer recalls, quoting Prince Hans-Adam of Liechtenstein. Yes, you read that correctly: a head of state (Liechtenstein’s billionaire prince) privately espoused to Greer a bizarre apocalyptic rationale for fanning an extraterrestrial conflict. In a meeting in New York, Hans-Adam admitted he was funding prominent UFO abduction researchers (Budd Hopkins, Dr. John Mack, David Jacobs) specifically to promote a scary narrative. “We want an Armageddon between humans and aliens, so Christ comes back,” was the Prince’s startling confession of motive. Greer describes being stunned and horrified – he realized that a faction of the cabal harbors religious End Times beliefs and hopes to provoke a cataclysmic “War of the Worlds.”
While not everyone in the UFO cover-up shares that peculiar zealotry, the strategy of manufacturing an alien threat is a recurrent theme. It serves more earthly motives too: rallying the world under a militarized authority, diverting trillions into space weaponry, and keeping the public in fear and ignorance. Recall Greer’s earlier point that presenting UFOs as a security threat is a “big lie” – in reality, he says, any hostility is coming from our side. “The man-made [UFOs] are [a threat] because they’re run by a transnational criminal organization out of control,” he notes, but the extraterrestrial visitors themselves have shown no sign of harm. In fact, Greer affirms that virtually all firsthand accounts from military retrieval teams indicate ET beings are peaceful and even concerned for our welfare. “Not a single one of them… said [the ETs] were anything but very peaceful, very enlightened,” he says of witnesses who encountered living non-humans. If that’s true, then an “alien threat” is a complete fabrication – a convenient fiction to justify more secrecy and weapons.
According to Greer, Hollywood has long been an unwitting (or perhaps witting) partner in this propaganda. Movies and TV bombard us with hostile invaders and planet-destroying extraterrestrials, softening the public to accept a future “space war.” Greer alleges that certain sci-fi storylines are virtually “out of CIA central casting” – citing films like Independence Day (where a swaggering Will Smith defeats evil aliens) as toeing the desired line. Even some well-known UFO researchers and figures in the public eye may be compromised, feeding partial truths laced with fear. Greer doesn’t shy from naming names: he accuses former Pentagon AATIP program head Luis Elizondo, for example, of promoting “partial disclosure” that acknowledges UFOs but paints them as menacing unknowns to spur military buildup. One extraordinary piece of evidence supporting the false threat narrative comes from a 1985 CIA document that Jacques Vallée once had in his possession. Greer says this document (which Vallée cryptically referenced in one of his own books) details CIA-run “alien abductions” in Latin America for psychological warfare purposes. In other words, U.S. operatives were staging kidnappings of civilians – using special effects to simulate ET kidnappers – “to make people think they’re being abducted by aliens”. The goal: spread fear and confusion about extraterrestrials. Greer’s team has repeatedly asked Vallée to release this document; Vallée reportedly refused and became agitated at the request. But the very idea that some “alien abduction” cases might have been covert human operations is shocking. Greer insists many abduction and cattle mutilation cases in the U.S. were likewise black ops misattributed to ETs. He cites the infamous 1961 Betty and Barney Hill abduction – one of the first widely reported cases – and notes that by 1961 the clandestine programs “already had fully operational man-made electrogravitic craft with people made to look like aliens”. Even supposed “UFO sightings” can be staged. As he bluntly sums it up: “9/11, aliens that are scary – see, that’s the next big thing… That is how we end up in World War III, a totalitarian militaristic superstate – the end of the world as we know it,” if we fall for the deception.
Against this manipulation, Greer advocates public discernment and peaceful engagement. He founded the concept of “CE-5” (Close Encounters of the Fifth Kind) – human-initiated contact with extraterrestrial intelligences – as a grassroots way to bypass government gatekeepers. Greer claims that via meditation protocols and signaling methods, ordinary people can make harmless contact with any ET visitors (who he contends are largely benevolent). He even developed a CE-5 smartphone app to teach these techniques, which actor William Shatner recently used successfully, according to Greer. The broader point: if extraterrestrials are here, we should approach them with communication and understanding, not hostility. “You think you’re going to win [a conflict] down the barrel of a gun? No – that’s a suicide mission,” Greer says of any overt warlike stance. He argues that even if a small fraction of ETs were problematic (a claim for which he sees no evidence), responding with military force would be futile and catastrophic given their likely technological superiority. Thus, the alien-threat narrative is not only false, it’s dangerously irresponsible – akin to shouting fire in a crowded theater, on a planetary scale.
High Crimes and Cover-Ups: How the Cabal Stays in Power
The saga would not be complete without examining how this secret empire has subverted mainstream institutions through the years. The tactics read like a spy thriller: bribery, blackmail, honey traps, and even orchestrated scandals at the pinnacle of power. Greer postulates that several major political scandals in U.S. history had an ulterior motive related to UFO secrecy.
One example he gives is the downfall of President Richard Nixon. Official history says Nixon resigned in 1974 over the Watergate scandal – a crude burglary and cover-up. But Greer suggests Nixon’s larger “crime” in the eyes of the cabal was that he “was hell-bent on bringing this stuff out.” By his second term, Nixon wanted to disclose the UFO reality and the advanced technologies. Greer cites the odd anecdote of Nixon taking his friend, comedian Jackie Gleason, to see a secret stash of alien artifacts at Homestead Air Force Base in 1973 – a story later corroborated by Gleason’s wife and others. Nixon, who had been Vice President during Eisenhower’s administration, was deeply familiar with the UFO matter and may have felt the time had come to tell the public. According to Greer, the Watergate scandal was manipulated from behind the scenes to remove Nixon before he could act. He points out that the famous “Deep Throat” informant was in reality FBI Deputy Director Mark Felt – and in Felt’s own memoir, Felt mentions Nixon being shown covert UFO technology early in his first term. Greer alleges that a young Pentagon liaison (Bob Woodward, who became the Washington Post reporter handling Deep Throat’s leaks) was steered to take down Nixon under the noble cover of exposing corruption. The result: Nixon was forced out, and any plans he had regarding UFO disclosure died in the cradle. Greer frames this as a coup by the shadow government: they used Nixon’s real abuses of power as the excuse, but the true reason was to protect the bigger secret.
A similar pattern is claimed in the case of President Bill Clinton. In the mid-1990s, Clinton showed interest in UFO files – prodded in part by Laurance Rockefeller’s advocacy. Greer briefed Clinton’s first CIA Director, James Woolsey, in 1993 and provided documents and testimony about illegal UFO programs. Reportedly, Clinton asked his associate John Podesta to look into declassification. But by 1996, as Clinton pressed, he was suddenly embroiled in the Monica Lewinsky sex scandal. Greer contends that scandal was no coincidence: it was a set-up by intelligence elements to politically incapacitate Clinton. He notes that Linda Tripp, the whistleblower who exposed Clinton’s affair, was herself a former Army Intelligence and NSA employee assigned to a desk near Lewinsky. By befriending Lewinsky and encouraging her to preserve evidence, Tripp helped ensure the affair became public and led to Clinton’s impeachment – thereby consuming Clinton’s political capital and attention. “When Hillary said there was a vast conspiracy, she wasn’t entirely wrong,” Greer muses. The message to Clinton (and any future president) was clear: Don’t mess with the UFO file, or we will find a way to destroy you politically.
Greer also alludes to other famous tragedies and scandals – the assassination of Robert F. Kennedy in 1968, or even the death of Marilyn Monroe in 1962 – that have rumored links to the UFO cover-up. In Monroe’s case, a CIA document (still classified Top-Secret) allegedly recorded her private phone being wiretapped; Monroe was heard threatening to hold a press conference to reveal what President Kennedy had told her about “a secret air base” and recovered UFOs. She was found dead of an overdose shortly after. Greer mentions this document (signed by CIA Counterintelligence chief James Jesus Angleton) as one of the startling pieces of evidence in his Presidential Briefing files. As for RFK, or Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., or others, Greer doesn’t go into detail in this interview – but the implication is that anyone who threatened the clandestine power structure in the mid-20th century might have been neutralized under the convenient cloak of the turbulent politics of the era.
Another tool of control has been blackmail. The case of billionaire sex offender Jeffrey Epstein comes to mind – was his operation (trafficking and compromising powerful figures) just about perversion and money, or part of a larger intelligence gambit to keep certain people in line? Greer doesn’t have specific evidence tying Epstein’s ring to UFO secrecy, but he notes the pattern of cultivating leverage. “I have no idea [if Epstein was connected to UFO issues],” he says, “but I think that was probably an op to pull in certain people and have a blackmail file on them.” He even claims a “very senior person in the national security apparatus” was ensnared in Epstein’s orbit and is now kept “on a short leash” by threats of exposure. This is standard practice, Greer explains: Most individuals at the top have some vice or secret, and intelligence agencies are adept at either exploiting an existing weakness or creating one (even via fabricated evidence, especially easy now with deepfake technology). The result is a hierarchy of compromised actors who will not dare step out of line to challenge the clandestine programs.
With such an arsenal of carrots and sticks – from billion-dollar bribes to “wet work” assassination squads – the cabal has managed to persistently outmaneuver or co-opt nearly all who approach the truth. Greer estimates that at least 10,000 people have been involved on the periphery of these programs and were bought off. “We have given at least 10,000 people $10 million each or more to secure their cooperation,” one deep-cover insider admitted to Greer in 1997. Do the math: that’s on the order of $100 billion spent on hush money and loyalty, just among mid-level participants, going back decades. With effectively unlimited funding (thanks to diverted military budgets, narcotics trafficking, and other clandestine revenue), the organization can afford to be very persuasive. Greer sums up the recruitment approach as “What’s your price?” – everyone is tested for how they might be compromised. If you can’t be bought, perhaps you can be threatened. If you can’t be threatened or bought, maybe you can be lured by power or access (Greer cites how aerospace magnate Robert Bigelow was courted simply with the promise of insider knowledge, which worked to entangle him in futile Pentagon studies in the 2000s). And if none of that works? Then the darker options are on the table – as they were for Colby, or Dr. James McDonald (a scientist who probed UFOs and died mysteriously), or many others who got too close.
Greer’s personal stubbornness in the face of this machinery is notable. In 1992, he recalls, Gen. Albert “Bert” Stubblebine – a former Army intelligence chief – privately offered him a $2 billion bribe to come on board and essentially stop causing trouble. Greer says Stubblebine wanted him to join their “club” of insiders (what Greer mockingly calls “goose-stepping fools”) and was willing to pay handsomely. Greer refused in colorful terms – “I said, sit on it and rotate,” he told the general. It’s an unusually crude quote for a medical doctor, but underscores his resolve. “No amount of money or threats is going to get me to stop,” Greer says of his mission. He believes the stakes for humanity are simply too high to back down.
The Urgency of Disclosure: Energy, Security, and Liberty at Stake
Dr. Greer often invokes a powerful phrase to describe the current situation: “an existential constitutional crisis.” By this he means that the very existence of a secret power structure outside the democratic framework threatens the Republic at its core. “Now you know how big the problem is – it’s an existential constitutional crisis,” he told a Pentagon official, emphasizing that a fundamental breach of the oath to uphold the Constitution has occurred. A cabal accountable to no law, holding unprecedented technology, and willing to kill to maintain control – could anything be more antithetical to the American system of government? As Greer frames it, this issue transcends politics as usual. It doesn’t matter if you’re liberal or conservative, American or Russian or Chinese – the usurpation of human destiny by a secretive elite is a global threat to freedom and survival. “It’s a much bigger crisis… no one’s doing anything about it. It’s dangerous that no one’s doing anything,” Greer emphasizes, practically shouting into the void for officials to wake up.
One immediate stake is the energy and environmental catastrophe unfolding on our planet. We live in an era of climate change, resource wars, and billions without access to basic electricity. Greer passionately argues that this is a solvable problem – or would have been, if those transformative energy technologies weren’t locked away. “This is 2025 – we have 8 billion people on the planet living like we’re in the 1800s energy-wise,” he says incredulously. “Are you telling me the whole world has to run on stuff that’s 80 to 120 years old? This is ridiculous.” By “stuff” he means fossil fuel combustion (19th century), early nuclear fission (mid-20th century), even wind turbines – which the Dutch pioneered centuries ago. The continued suppression of zero-point energy and related breakthroughs has, in Greer’s view, directly contributed to global poverty, conflict and environmental destruction. “Three billion people on the planet don’t even have energy to cook their food,” he notes. In energy desperation, they denude forests for firewood and destabilize their societies. Whole regions remain mired in the “have and have-not” divide, breeding extremism and unrest. Greer flatly states that poverty and many wars would end within a generation if the new energy sciences were released.
He envisions a 15-30 year transition off fossil fuels once disclosure occurs – a massive but achievable industrial pivot, similar in scale to the transformation during World War II. The tragedy, he says, is that we don’t have those decades to waste. The environment is nearing irreversible tipping points; geopolitical tensions over resources are high; and the world’s population is still growing. “I don’t know that we have 30 years, so we need to get going,” Greer urges. Every year of delay is another year of pollution, carbon emissions, and human suffering that could have been avoided. In Greer’s mind, future generations (if they survive) will look back at our time and wonder how we allowed greed and secrecy to hold back an obvious solution to so many problems.
Another stake is the risk of a skewed, authoritarian future if the cabal gets its way. Imagine a world where a false alien threat is used to justify martial law, surveillance, and the weaponization of space. Greer warns that the continued drumbeat of fear – from terrorism to extraterrestrials – is intended to erode freedoms and concentrate power in a crisis-driven police state. “That is how we ended up in World War II,” he says, invoking how fear-mongering and propaganda enabled fascist regimes. “That’s how we end up in a totalitarian militaristic superstate – the opposite of the Golden Age, the opposite of enlightenment, the opposite of a sustainable world. That’s the end of the world as we know it.” In Greer’s eyes, disclosure is not just about cool science or confirming aliens exist; it’s about choosing what kind of world we will have. Down one path (continued secrecy and deception) lies an Orwellian nightmare of endless war – possibly even an unwinnable war against false “aliens” or real extraterrestrials provoked by our own aggression. Down the other path (open disclosure and shared knowledge) lies a chance at a “Golden Age” – a future where technology frees all humanity from want and fear, and we mature into a peaceful spacefaring civilization.
To reach the good path, Greer advocates a multifaceted approach: political, legal, and grassroots action combined. Politically, he has crafted briefing documents and action plans for current leaders. In fact, after the 2024 U.S. election, Greer’s team swiftly delivered a comprehensive briefing to the incoming administration (which he hints has shown more openness to the topic than any since Clinton’s first term). He has outlined a series of five executive orders the President could sign to immediately address the crisis. Among them: one order would grant blanket amnesty and immunity to whistleblowers (so they can testify without fear of prosecution), and another would establish a high-level special investigative panel with authority to seize and audit the rogue programs. Greer argues that a President, working with a coalition in Congress, could lawfully demand the surrender of the covert assets. If the operators refuse, they would be declared in open rebellion against the United States – committing treason – which would then justify deploying special forces to raid and secure the secret facilities. Greer even suggests that plans for such tactical operations have been drawn up: “It’s already been in place for about a year and a half, two years,” he says of a contingency to physically take control of facilities like Area 51, Dugway Proving Ground, Wright-Patterson AFB, and the corporate labs. The idea of U.S. military units storming U.S. corporate installations sounds dramatic, but Greer insists the legal authority would be clear if the President declares these programs unacknowledged and illegal. The sheer audacity of such an operation might prompt many entrenched operatives to capitulate rather than engage in a firefight. “They either capitulate to the legal government of the United States or they’re declared treasonous operations,” Greer says simply.
That said, Greer recognizes realpolitik: the cabal does possess exotic weaponry that could outmatch conventional forces in a direct confrontation. So part of any plan must be neutralizing the technological advantage. Greer cryptically mentions certain advanced scalar electromagnetic systems the good guys have, which could be used to disable the covert group’s assets without a fight. He alludes to a senior physicist from General Electric on his team who specializes in such scalar tech. Essentially, it would be “fire against fire” – using one secret technology to counter another. While details are scarce (and understandably sensitive), Greer assures that “you can go in and neutralize the facility without a bomb”, hinting at non-kinetic ways to shut down electronics and propulsion in a targeted area. Such capabilities, if real, provide a glimmer of hope that the Goliath’s advantage can be blunted.
Importantly, Greer advocates a measured disclosure – not a free-for-all that could itself lead to chaos. For instance, some of the most destructive technologies (like weaponized UFO craft or quantum weapons) might need to remain classified even after acknowledgment, at least until global stability is ensured. “We all know we have thermonuclear weapons, but you can’t go to Ace Hardware and buy one,” he quips, drawing an analogy. Similarly, humanity could admit it has gravitic craft without immediately revealing every detail that would allow any rogue actor to build a bomb that could, say, obliterate a city in seconds. Greer concedes “the world is too unstable right now” to hand out certain technologies to every military or terror group. However, he argues that energy technologies are a different matter: we can safely disseminate decentralized energy solutions (free energy generators, advanced batteries, etc.) that cannot be easily weaponized but would uplift billions of people. Those should be fast-tracked for open release. In Greer’s plan, the exotic propulsion and weapon-like capabilities would be revealed in concept – so the world knows they exist and are under proper authority – but the applications would be tightly safeguarded until international frameworks ensure they’re not misused.
Ultimately, Greer’s vision is not about retribution or vengeance on those who kept the secret. While some in the UFO disclosure community demand heads to roll and comparisons to Nuremberg trials are floated, Greer takes a more reconciliatory stance. “Hardcore people in disclosure say, ‘Oh, we should round them up.’ I say, no – these guys are holding technologies that are the trump card against everything the Pentagon has,” he explains. Many of the individuals in the programs were simply following orders under threats, he notes, or genuinely believed they were protecting national security. “Plenty of them are just taking orders under threat of their families’ lives,” Greer says. “We have to have compassion for that.” Even for the worst actors, he advocates clemency in exchange for cooperation: “Provide a pathway for the people involved to come clean but not be imprisoned or executed,” is his advice to policymakers. The goal is truth and reconciliation, not witch hunts. Greer even paraphrases Gandhi: “An eye for an eye will leave the whole world blind.” In practical terms, offering immunity and dignified retirement to those who disclose information might speed the process and avoid desperate holdouts.
After all, as Greer frequently reminds us, the numbers are on the side of transparency. The clandestine group’s membership is small – perhaps a few hundred key people with knowledge, a few thousand with peripheral roles. Against them stand millions of honorable service members, and billions of global citizens who would benefit from the truth. “Their numbers are very thin,” Greer says of the cabal. “They cannot withstand the full force of a serious investigation and tactical operation.” He believes that once momentum builds – once a few dominoes fall – the rest will follow in a cascade. Public opinion would swiftly turn against the secret-keepers if their existence and deeds were exposed, isolating them further. Greer’s strategy is to apply pressure at the right points until the inevitable collapse of the wall of secrecy occurs.
Conclusion: A New Dawn or a Dark Age?
As bizarre and sweeping as these claims are, their significance cannot be overstated if true. We are confronted with two diametrically opposed potential futures. In one, the current trajectory continues: a world of dwindling resources, rising authoritarianism, engineered crises and possibly a “fake” alien war that could unify humanity under a fear-based dictatorship – fulfilling the darkest nightmares of science fiction. In the other future, humanity throws off the chains of enforced ignorance: secret knowledge is shared, limitless energy ends scarcity and pollution, and contact with other civilizations (if they exist and are visiting) is handled with wisdom and maturity.
Dr. Steven Greer and those who share his cause are urgently pleading for us to choose the latter path while we still can. The hour is late, but not past. Greer often ends his talks with a sober encouragement: the truth is coming out, one way or another. Indeed, the mere fact that Congress held public UFO hearings in 2023, and that a decorated intelligence officer (Grusch) testified about crashed saucers, shows the edifice of secrecy is cracking. Whistleblowers are emerging from the shadows. Former presidents and ministers are starting to speak more openly. Public surveys show unprecedented numbers believe the government isn’t telling the whole story about UFOs. And mainstream media – while still cautious – no longer treats the subject as a joke.
Yet, as this article has explored, the forces invested in keeping the lid on are formidable and not likely to go quietly. Greer acknowledges the conflict could escalate in unpredictable ways. But he remains fundamentally optimistic that truth and justice will prevail. “The people who know about this, they need to come clean soon,” he urges again – a mix of warning and hope. He believes there are white hats within government and even within the intelligence world who are working to see this through, quietly aided by civilian researchers like himself providing guidance and evidence.
The story of the Deep State’s UFO cover-up is not just another conspiracy theory to be debated online; if the testimonies are accurate, it is the story of the century – a saga of human ambition, greed, ingenuity, and yearning for redemption.
